A neighborhood walk…
I have started my journey back toward my pre-pregnancy weight. One of the nice things about newborns is that they LOVE going for walks (they love getting rocked back and forth in the stroller). I am going to try and explore different neighborhoods in the next few months and post some highlights of the journey. I recently strolled down the Guerrero/Fair Oaks neighborhood. Here are the highlights:
There is a cool corridor that connects you from Guerrero to San Jose. It is a quiet neighborhood playground called Jury Commons. You can take a coffee (and pee) break at Quetzal coffee shop on Guerrero and 23rd. I avoided the hills (not feeling ready for them yet) by walking up Guerrero and making the loop back to 26th St on Fair Oaks. Enjoy!
